ABS Machining Material
ABS Machining Plastic is known for being a tough, rigid plastic, with high impact strength properties. Sentinel Plastics is one of the companies that machine ABS plastic.
ABS Material is a relatively good plastic to machine, form, bond and weld. Providing very good electrical insulation. ABS sheet has low water absorption and is resistant to most acids and alkali’s of medium concentration.
An attraction of ABS is it can be used continuously to -50°C to +70°C. Available in smooth, Pinseal, leathergrain and fire retardant grades.
Material Plus Points.
Easily bonded and welded. Retardant to most alkali’s and weak acids. High heat distortion temperature.
